DADAAUDIO vs DISCO

DISCO is a well-known tool for sharing music, used by artists, labels and supervisors. Here’s how Aerie is different.

The beta opens in waves from Thursday 15 October. Join the waitlist: beta testers get every feature free until launch and 50% off their first year.

Where DISCO is strong

  • Similarity search from a track or a YouTube or Spotify link
  • AI vocal separation: instant instrumentals and a cappellas
  • A mobile app and a network of catalogues
  • Enterprise features like SSO and API

Where Aerie is different

01

Import it yourself.

Bring CSV, Excel or CWR files in on your own, in minutes. DISCO’s help centre describes CSV imports done by its support team, for CSVs exported from DISCO.

02

Undo.

Almost every change in Aerie can be undone. DISCO’s own guide says it doesn’t offer an undo function.

03

Rights and registration.

The Sync Passport keeps splits, IPI, one-stop status and the licensing contact on every track, and Aerie exports CWR for your societies. We didn’t find a CWR export on DISCO’s public site.

04

AI included.

Search by meaning, AI tags and lyrics are in every Aerie plan. On DISCO, prompt search and the Discovery Suite are paid add-ons.

05

Stored in the EU.

DISCO’s privacy policy says data is processed in the United States and other countries.

06

A free plan.

Aerie Free: 50 tracks, forever.
